This toolkit by the Topos Partnership for the Data Funders Collaborative, is intended to help communicators talk about and promote a wide range of data sharing, with broad audiences. The goal is to identify ways of creating more constructive and supportive dialog with more people, and to explore ways of navigating challenges so that they don’t derail the conversation. It consists of a set of brief, concrete discussions of communications choices and considerations, as well as a set of concrete illustrations of how the recommendations can play out in real-world communications contexts. The Toolkit is designed as a stand-alone document—readers don’t necessarily need to dive deeper into the research and rationales behind the material. But anyone interested in doing so is invited to read the accompanying research report. Read more >>
