NIC Friends,

Over the past 2 years, I've been working with leading professionals to develop a process to rapidly enhance and expand community engagement for addressing the opioid crisis.  We've created some amazing tools--like the free comprehensive strategy map template and the Opioid Coalition Resource Hub (a free, wiki-based platform that shares abundant resources to help community coalitions).   We'are about to launch the 3rd generation of the Community Coalition Accelerator (CCA).  The response to the pilot launch of this program was so positive that it led to me receiving the 2018 Health System Transformation Award from Communities Joined in Action.

The web page on the CCA has links to the accolades and evaluation scores from the ones we have done so far.  http://www.insightformation.com/cca

This is a easy-to-implement local program that we bring to you.  This is a chance to bring 40 to 100 people together in your community for a highly-interactive, carefully designed workshop on August 20.  In the 4 weeks before the workshop, we use an E-learning platform to equip the local leaders (a moderator, a few promoters, 5 breakout facilitators and 5 scribes) in everything they need to be successful in their roles.  We provide a customized event website, suggestions on how to promote attendance, and pre-workshop materials for people who register.   During the 6-hour workshop, I will be leading the training sessions, live on video, over the Internet.  Most of the 6-hour workshop is spent in intentionally structured small groups where community organizations learn how to work as a team, harness available resources and develop action plans that quickly move your community forward in implementing a multi-faceted strategy.

Sincerely,
