Ariela holds an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School and a BA in Economics from Brandies University. She currently serves as the Director of Strategic Management for the first female mayor of Charleston, West Virginia, Mayor Amy Goodwin. She previously worked in the international development field holding positions in research, project management for USAID, and with a school in Rwanda.
