Bonnie Ewald is the Associate Director of the Center for Health and Social Care Integration, an applied think-tank based in Rush’s Social Work and Community Health department, working to reduce inequitable outcomes in health and well-being by advancing practices and policies that break down barriers to health. In this position, she leads several program development, training, and policy advocacy initiatives related to integrating health care and social services in collaboration with internal and external partners. Bonnie also assists with department-wide grant development and strategy, leads a team of AmeriCorps members, and serves as adjunct faculty in Rush’s Health Systems Management department. Bonnie has her master’s degree in public policy studies from the University of Chicago (2018), a post-graduate certificate in Sustainable Urban Design from Archeworks (2013), and a bachelors in mathematics and geography from the University of Wisconsin (2011).
