I am one of the co-founders of Cloud Privacy Labs, a privacy technology company. For more than 25 years I have been leading geographically distributed and culturally diverse teams building enterprise scale software systems. I designed and built the ConsentGrid consent management platform that integrates granular consent into data exchange. I started the “Layered Schemas” project as an open technology for privacy-conscious computing and semantic interoperability. The project "Semantic Interoperability for Electronic Health Data Using the Layered Schemas Architecture" is selected for the ONC LEAP award in 2021. Before starting Cloud Privacy Labs, I worked as a Principal Software Applications Engineer at Red Hat Inc., where I led the implementation of multiple open and closed source projects. I am the co-chair of the Privacy and Risk Task Force of Trust Over IP Foundation.
