Ellie is focused on combining knowledge technology with community building to facilitate action on sustainability challenges. She is developing a non-profit, Common Action, around these themes. She also develops community for tech companies, having established of The Knowledge Graph Conference's Community, a bustling Slack convening over 1,600 developers, academics, industry adopters, and learners sharing and networking around knowledge graphs. Based on a variety of event series -- Knowledge Espresso, office hours, and book clubs -- the Community is focused on facilitating sharing to democratize understanding and adoption of knowledge graphs.
