Kevin has over 30 years working in high tech assisting organizations design, develop and deploy business processing solutions across a wide range of industries including retail and health insurance. He has worked extensively the past 20 years providing his expertise in X12, HL7 and NCPDP transaction processing to commercial plans and state Medicaid organizations to optimize transaction processing, reduce cost and adhere to the ever-changing industry and governmental mandates. During his 18 years at Edifecs, Kevin has been instrumental in bringing to market key business solutions helping Edifecs customers address mandates such as HIPAA, CORE, and MAO/MCO Encounter reporting and FHIR. In his Principal Business Advisor role, Kevin provides guidance within the organization to Edifecs’s Interoperability Architecture and represents Edifecs within various industry standards organization. He has been an active participant in both HL7 FHIR accelerators DaVinci and FAST including his position as co-lead on the FAST Consent Management IG workgroup. Additionally, he provides interoperability regulatory expertise as a trusted advisor to the Edifecs clients and staff.
