Mike Relli founded Knight Consulting, LLC, Little Silver, NJ in October 2012. Mike has more than 25 years of experience in Emerging Initiatives related to Information Technology and transactions processing in the healthcare and financial industries. Mike is driven by innovation and has a knack on how to get though the weeds and right to the point of the business need. Mike provides consulting and business development for organizations focusing on: strategic planning, innovative payment models, project management and workflow design, system implementation and user adoption. Across the health vertical, Mike focuses efforts on addressing the critical workflow and IT challenges facing healthcare organizations. Customers and partners in the healthcare industry include: health plans, health systems, solution vendors and the provider community including expertise in the behavioral health space (mental health and substance abuse). During Mike’s career, he has worked at senior levels at best of breed software and processing companies by providing software workflow consulting and innovation services. Mike regularly speaks at industry tradeshows regarding experiences with revenue cycle (claims, eligibility, referrals and payment processing), clinical and quality data sets of structured (ANSI, HL7, etc.) or unstructured data. Mike graduated with a degree in Economics from Rutgers University and serves as either a board member or advisor with several organizations, including being a past board member of the New Jersey Chapter of Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
