Omar Passons is the Director of Integrative Services of the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency. In that capacity, he leads a team to align critical services and supports offered by the County to best improve the lives of San Diegans in need. Omar is a former construction and land use attorney who has worked to elevate inclusive workforce and economic development in San Diego for several years. During his career, Omar represented large public and private clients in the development and construction of projects throughout the San Diego region and he has developed an understanding of the workforce challenges and labor shortages that frustrate construction sector growth. Prior to his legal career, Omar evaluated public health programs as an Analyst with the United States Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Public Health and Science.
