Description:
Two-part series from AISP on leveraging cross-sector data capacity during crisis AISP is excited to announce the release of a second post focused on the use of integrated data to help state and local governments efficiently meet emergent health and climate challenges. This latest piece builds off our previous blog about COVID-19 response to think more broadly about the application and benefits of integrated data systems (IDS) during natural disasters and climate crises. We argue that considerations around racial, socioeconomic, and geographic inequities must be central if we are to use integrated data as a tool to ameliorate rather than exacerbate existing disparities in times of crisis. Both pieces are informed by AISP’s national landscape analysis of data integration efforts conducted earlier this year.
