Agenda

An InterOpathon is a collaborative event focused on understanding how organizations can translate interoperability standards into real-word solutions. Participating teams will have complete access to a robust synthetic healthcare ecosystem called Interoperability Land™, access to open Application Programing Interfaces (APIs) and cloud services exposed by our sponsors to the teams.

This Virtual InterOpathon, hosted by the Interoperability Institute on May 28 & 29, brings together Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR®) Accelerators and encourages teams to build solutions to advance use cases within Health Level Seven® (HL7®) FHIR® Accelerator Programs implementation guides (IG for CARIN, Da Vinci and SIREN/Gravity Project). The National Interoperability Collaborative (NIC) use case – Project Unify will focus on a proof-of-concept to advance interoperability between the health and human services domains. Additionally, we will have an open track that will allow attendees to build a solution to any healthcare issue to help promote interoperability. A main focus will be to help organizations prepare for compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act final rules from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) for Health Information Technology.
