Emilia De Marchis, MD, from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Department of Family and Community Medicine, will present the results of a systematic review of health care–based food insecurity interventions. You’ll also hear firsthand an essential hospital’s experience delivering a food insecurity intervention. Larry Altier will share how Lee Health, in Fort Myers, Fla., developed and evaluated Flavor Harvest @ Home, a program designed to help meet the nutrition needs of patients living in food deserts.
