Across the country, housing has become a big concern - not just for low-income families but for everybody. Companies cannot grow without a stable workforce.  Families cannot feed their children when housing costs are so high.  Schools, transit, and hospitals cannot operate well - solving things from everyday colds to the coronavirus - without the staff they need on board to do so and housing has become an impediment. The sheer scale of housing needs across the country means that this is an adaptive problem requiring alignment across a great number of organizations, agencies, community residents, and corporate leaders.  That alignment takes more than a campaign - it takes very strategic casemaking.

In this 2-day learning labs, you will hear from leaders across the country as they talk about their wins and challenges in getting the alignment they need to address housing as a broader regional issue.  We will share strategies, messaging, talking points, and data that can help you turbo-charge the housing work in your community.  We'll introduce you to the tools and processes that are part of effective campaigns, tips for powering up those campaigns (even with on a shoestring budget) and we'll work with you to develop/deliver a "fast pitch" that helps elevate housing to your stakeholders and strategic partners.

Who will attend?

This 2-day Strategic CaseMaking Lab in Las Vegas is designed for people who are interested in understanding how they can elevate housing as a broader public concern by using Strategic CaseMaking and engage new champions as they make the case for greater public support.  We will focus quite a lot on regional housing efforts but the lessons we share are applicable to anybody trying to make the case for housing in their communities.
