CVS Health invested a total of $67 million in affordable housing units in 2019 as a part of its efforts to address housing security and the social determinants of health, the company reported in a recent press release.
The investments, which offer Permanent Supportive Housing as a part of Aetna and CVS Health’s “Destination: Health” social determinants of health programming, have resulted in 2,200 new units of housing in 24 cities and six states.
