- Climate change threatens all efforts to balance equity in state wide, national, and global social and health challenges.
- Efforts will be undermined by the imminent health effects of climate change. For example, wildfires, landslides, air pollution and heat related illnesses (ashtma, heart disease) in California.
- There is dire need for courageously alligned policy efforts.
