I have worked in the field of human services for almost 30 years; with the past 20 years at my current employer - Crisis Center of Tampa Bay. In my capacity as Senior Director, I'm responsible for creating/maintaining a client-focused, high quality delivery system of education, outreach, information and referral, and early intervention services for persons experiencing major life challenges. Other responsibilities include the development and implementation of policies and procedures for all programs, and providing direct supervision across the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay, ensuring achievement of organizational goals and objectives. I'm also a surviving spouse of a USAF Veteran who lost his fight with substance misuse in 2014. I'm the proud parent of a teenage daughter and an adult son. My son is currently serving in the US Army as a helicopter mechanic (combat experience); so, that also makes me a Blue Star Mother. If I'm not actively engaged with my teenager, or my coworkers, I like to spend time quiet time reading, browsing bookstores (or the local library) and enjoying coffee.
