Bill Beighe is CIO of the Santa Cruz Health Information Exchange Organization (SCHIO). Bill has been involved with the HIE since 1998. The HIE exchanges more than 300,000 clinical documents electronically in standard format every month between more than 2,000 web and EHR connected users.
